PMSYM Pension Scheme: Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan Dhan (PMSYM) Yojana is a old age pension scheme by Government of India. In this scheme 50% monthly contribution is payble by the beneficiary and same matching contribution is paid by the Government of India.
The details of schemes are given below:
1. Voluntary and contribution pension scheme.
2. Monthly contribution ranges from Rs.55/- to Rs.200/- depending upon the entry age of the beneficiary.
3. 50% contribution by the beneficiary and same contribution by the Government of India.
Elegibility of PMSYM Scheme:
1. Should be an Indian Citizen
2. Unorganised Workers like working as Street vendors, Agriculture laborer’s, Construction workers, Mid day meal workers, Fisherman’s, Carpenters etc.
3. Age group of 18 to 40 years.
4. Below 15000 of monthly income and not a member of EPFO/ESIC/NPS (Govt. funded).
Advantages of PMSYM Pension Scheme:
1. After complete the age of 60 years, beneficiaries are entitled to receive minimum monthly assured pension of Rs. 3000/-.
2. On death of the beneficiary, spouse is eligible for 50% monthly pension.
3. If both husband and wife are join the scheme, they are also eligible for Rs. 6000/- monthly pension jointly.
